Balendran Balasingam read in the Chambers of Messrs Nadzarin, Sena & Lim upon graduation and was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on the 8th of December 1995. He then served as a legal assistant with Messrs Y.S.Woo & Proctor where he had extensive exposure to all nature of civil litigation with special emphasis on banking, company, land and bankruptcy laws. Balendran then joined Messrs David Lingam & Co. As the Head of the Litigation Department and over the following two years he continued his work in the fields mentioned above as well as gathering exposure in additional fields such as in insurance, building and construction matters, personal injury, shareholder disputes, corporate and commercial litigation and corporate insolvency. He establishes his own firm under the name and style of Messrs Rohaina & Balendran wherein he concentrated his efforts on conveyancing and corporate matters and the preparation of other legal documentation. In June 2004, Balendran joined Mathews Hun Kandiah as an associate to spearhead its growing litigation and conveyancing practice. It was a strategic decision designed to enhance the services provided by the Mathews Hun Kandiah. In October 2006, Balendran joined Messrs Ho & Siong to head the Litigation Department. On the 1 st of February 2019 he joined Fathan & Co. and heads the Conveyancing Department.
